Air cargo pricing from China surges again

Air freight rates from Shanghai to Europe and the US surged again last week as capacity on the trade lanes remained tight.


The latest statistics from TAC Index show that prices on services from Shanghai to North America last week increased by 9.3% week on week to $6.95 per kg, which is a new record for the trade on the index (beginning March 2016).

The increase follows on from a slight decrease in prices on the trade two weeks ago. However, since the start of March prices are now up by a staggering 130.9%.
On services from Shanghai to Europe, there was an 18% increase to $8.65 per kg — also a record on the trade for the index. Since the start of March prices have increased by 272.8%.

Conversely, rates out of Hong Kong to Europe fell by 8.8% week on week to $4.66 per kg and from Hong to North America there was an increase of 4.5% to $5.54 per kg.

South Korea exported 225,420 vehicles in October, a year-on-year increase of 8.6% and a new high

 South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy recently released data showing that the cumulative export volume of automobiles from January to October this year was US.96 billion, a year-on-year increase of 33.9%. Due to strong demand for overseas environmentally friendly cars and high-end imports, automobile exports in October reached a record high of US.88 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.8%; the export volume was 225,420 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 8.6%. In addition, South Korea's automobile production in October was 341,019 units, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%. Last year, production reached the 4 million mark for the first time in five years after 2018. South Korea's export volume and export volume have maintained double-digit highs for four consecutive months. However, we must remember that health is the capital of our body to move on everything.  Sunny Worldwide Logistics  is an international  sea  and  air cargo  freight forwarding company which emphasizes employee physical and mental health of them , stressing employees to combine work with pleasure. Therefore, the strength of the team pushes Sunny Worldwide Logistics staff to organize to have yoga classes by themselves last week. We start our fitness journey this week. Our yoga class is at 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday per week. We are ready for a Yoga Kit to welcome yoga classes. Yesterday the Yoga journey has been officially started.
