In a nutshell: Europe is getting serious! Spanish police just carried out a raid, seizing 600,000 counterfeit items, raiding five overseas warehouses, and arresting two people. The police had been monitoring the operation for a full year and three months, tracing the trail back from the very first shipment until they finally shut down the entire operation, warehouses and all. What does this mean? It means that in the past, if you were caught selling counterfeit goods, the worst that could happen was losing that single shipment. Now it’s different—the police will trace that shipment backward to track down your warehouse, your consignee, and your money trail.
