Urgent Alert: Europe Air Freight


说个有时限的紧急情况。就在昨天，4月12号新华社发的新闻：欧盟那边的航空燃油，三周后也就是5月初，可能面临系统性短缺。原因很直接：伊朗打仗，霍尔木兹海峡堵了，燃油运不过去。价格已经从每吨831美元飙到了1838美元。这意味着，三周内如果问题不解决，欧洲很多飞机可能加不上油，航班要乱，整个空运和物流链都会受冲击。


Here's a time-sensitive update. According to a Xinhua News report released yesterday, April 12, Europe is facing a potential systemic shortage of jet fuel in about three weeks — around early May. The reason is straightforward: the conflict in Iran has blocked the Strait of Hormuz, cutting off fuel shipments. Prices have already skyrocketed from $831 to $1,838 per metric ton.


What this means: if the issue isn't resolved within the next three weeks, many flights across Europe may not be able to refuel. Expect flight disruptions and major impacts on the entire air freight and logistics chain.
