As we all know,the procedure and documents of normal export is simple. But have you met cargo from one bonded warehouse to another supervised warehouse and then export to foreign countries?

 One of our Barbados client just need this special customized service. At the first time he wanted to ship the cargo directly to Barbados but as sailing time is too long so we suggested client that we can ship the cargo to Miami then transit to Barbados,and he accepted. Buyer’s Chinese warehouse: Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone.

Export supervision warehouse: Shanghai Yangshan port Free Trade Zone

Buyer: American client

Final buyer: Barbados client

       Two pieces of cargo needed to go through the transition of such multiple addresses to reach to the final customer. Moreover, the client also needs to hide the information of the real factory from the terminal consignee.When we received the order, the goods were already in the warehouse of waigaoqiao free trade zone in Shanghai. We have already known the operation of the whole process, we need to pick up the cargo before customs declaration. First, confirm the address of the export supervision warehouse, then book a vehicle that has qualification to enter and exit the bonded area, and schedule the pick-up and delivery time. 

       First we have to get the truck information and settle down the pick up date and submit to Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone document department to issue a release document to the driver, after the driver picked up the cargo only with the release documents he can drive out the bonded area. But unfortunately, the driver find out he has emergency case and has no vacancy to do the delivery for us after we submitted all the information to Waigaoqiao warehouse, to modify document information in bonded warehouse is not an easy thing,especially we are facing the problem of having not enough time. But if just change the person of driver without changing the truck details is permitted in this bonded warehouse, after several times’ negotiation with the trucker,finally they agree to change the driver but not change the truck details.

When the cargo was in the warehouse of Yangshan Free Trade Zone, the LCL warehouse will pick up the container and issue a space allocation document for the Waigaoqiao bonded warehouse to arrange customs declaration, after shipment released just waiting for cargo sailing is ok. It is worth noting that the documents involved in this process involve many kinds of information and releationship. Due to the limitations of transportation document requirements between China and the United States, they could not meet the needs of customers at the beginning. 

American buyer thinks that they have purchased the cargo from Chinese factory, of course they are the owner of the goods, so they want their company to be the shipper of the B / L ,because AMS declaration is forced to USA shipment, and the shipper of AMS must be the real Chinese manufacturer.At the begaining client refused to show the actual manufacturer on AMS because they didn’t want the final buyer know the manufacturer,at the first we of course try to ask the carrier if there is a way to meet client’s requirement but faild. While checking with the carrier we also turn to our several agents in USA for help,certainly this is indeed unaccepted to show American company as the AMS shipper from China to USA.But nobody can see the actual shipper unless the broker of this shipment, and the shipment will be cleared by the American buyer’s own broker in USA,finally client agreed our solution.Because of the time difference, it took almost five days to finalize the document.

However, this process is also tiring and long for us, because we are required to have extremely high professionalism, and we also need communicate and explain the process and reason to client properly, so that they can understand our operation requirements.But we feel successful as we solve a complicated problem again. no matter how difficult the order is , as long as we found a breakthrough, we will solve it finally and shipment will be smoothly!
